Could Use Your Help

by Tommy on April 27, 2010

I’m trying to change the world, and could use a little help.

I’m ass deep in a project right now that is a bit ambitious and over my head involving urban agriculture in New York City. I am on a team that is writing a comprehensive proposal to birth such a thing, and we are very busily working toward our deadline.

This proposal is real. It will end up competing against over one hundred other projects for seed money (in this case, literally) next year as part of a city wide competition. I’m convinced we can win, and more importantly, I’m convinced this is part of the “solution” I crave so badly. Either way, the goal is viability.

Here’s where I need your help: I am gathering data that will be embedded within the proposal, and need to collect some very simple, non-intrusive survey results. The higher the survey count, the more valuable the data set, so please spread this as wide as possible.

I will keep you posted on the progress, but this is a long process.

Thank you for your continued energy.

If you care to spread the survey, here is the direct link:

Since I don’t live there, I forwarded it to someone who does. Good luck!

Is this part of a capstone project for your MBA? If so I have some ideas.

Mike,
Not part of a capstone. It’s a proposal that grew from an assignment and will be submitted into a city-wide competition.

Will,
That’s an old, washed-up life ring.

Tommy, I sent the survey link to a number of friends. They don’t have to live in NYC, do they? I did the survey, too, but live in Boston.

Hi Kate,
No, they don’t have to live in NYC. Thank you for sending it out.

Charles,
You are awesome.
